Damian McGrath is a former Rugby League player who transitioned into a successful coaching career across both rugby codes, spanning 4 continents, 4 Commonwealth Games & 5 World Cups. At Leeds Rhinos RL, he achieved multiple Academy & Reserve Championships, plus 2 Challenge Cup Finals & a Super League Grand Final. Internationally, he coached GB RL Academy, GB U21s & was assistant coach for England's 2000 RL World Cup team. He then joined the RFU as Defence & Skills coach for England ‘A’ & 7s, & coached England U19s to a World Cup 3rd place. At Leicester Tigers, Spain RFU & Huddersfield Giants he led significant team improvements. With WRU in 2011, he led North Wales rugby, achieving Championship status. In 2013 he led Great Britain to Rugby 7s gold at the World Student Games. As Head Coach, he led Samoa, Canada & Germany’s Rugby teams to historic successes. He also coached Kenya 7s. He authored ‘Can You Be Fluent in Success' plus 3 books on rugby skills.
