Eleanor Tweddell
How to own change and make it an opportunity

Eleanor Tweddell was laid off from her corporate job in 2016. She wasn't in the best place, until someone offered the gift of the cliche words 'ah well when one door closes...'. She decided instead of getting cross at the cliche to start a blog, called Another Door, and explore how to make job loss a good thing. And maybe after 20 years of corporate life, working for big UK brands including Virgin Atlantic, Costa Coffee and Vodafone, it was time to start her own business. She now talks about change and how to own it, writing a best selling book 'Five steps to thrive after losing job', published by Penguin Random House. She works with organisations to help them help their employees through change. In 2020 Another Door supported over 1000 people to see redundancy as an opportunity. Her talks are about cultural change, owning change and how organisations can help employees to embrace change.
