
Dr Steve Ingham is steeped in high performance and has been integral to the development of Britain into an Olympic superpower.
He has provided support to over 1,000 athletes, of which over 200 have achieved World or Olympic medal success, including some of the world’s greatest athletes, such as Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Matthew Pinsent.
Steve was the Sports Science Manager at the British Olympic Association, and Director of Science and Technical Development, the English Institute of Sport leading the science operation behind the British team to the Athens, London and Rio Olympics. Steve recently advised the French High-Performance system on their strategy for hosting a successful games in Paris.
Steve is the Director of Supporting Champions and Athlete Now, has a high performance science coaching clinic (SI Unit) in Harley St, London. He consults with numerous sports teams and institutions as well as developing executive teams around the world and teaches at the Warwick Business School and Saïd Business School at Oxford University.
Steve is host of the Supporting Champions podcast, exploring aspects of high performance.
